The human gut microbiome across the life course

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Despite significant individual variation and continuous change throughout life, the human gut microbiome follows some life stage‐specific trends. This article provides a brief overview of how gut microbiome composition shifts across different phases of life. Created in BioRender. Özkurt, E. (2026) https://BioRender.com/8q4nrnc.

New constant modulus algorithm suitable for nonconstant modulus signals

open access: yesTongxin xuebao, 2011
The steady-state mean square error(MSE) of constant modulus algorithm(CMA) can not converge to zero for nonconstant modulus signals.By changing the multimodulus of nonconstant modulus source to single modulus,a new cost function was defined. And the new ...

Test Method for Rapid Prediction of Steady-State Temperature of Outer Rings of Bearings under Grease Lubrication Conditions

open access: yesLubricants
Temperature has a great influence on the stability of bearing performance. For the study of bearing steady-state temperature, this paper proposes a test method to quickly predict the steady-state temperature of the outer ring of a bearing, which solves ...

Septin 9 PB domains coordinate centrosome positioning and microtubule acetylation to control epithelial polarity

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Septin 9 polybasic domains couple phosphoinositide‐rich membrane binding to centrosome positioning, Golgi organization, and microtubule acetylation to control epithelial polarity. Their loss disrupts this axis, causing centrosome mispositioning, Golgi fragmentation, reduced microtubule acetylation, and polarity inversion via upregulation of the ...

Steady-State Performance of an Adaptive Combined MISO Filter Using the Multichannel Affine Projection Algorithm

open access: yesAlgorithms, 2018
The combination of adaptive filters is an effective approach to improve filtering performance. In this paper, we investigate the performance of an adaptive combined scheme between two adaptive multiple-input single-output (MISO) filters, which can be ...

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.
