Using limb darkening to measure fundamental parameters of stars
Context. Limb darkening is an important tool for understanding stellar atmospheres, but most observations measuring limb darkening assume various parameterizations that yield no significant information about the structure of stellar atmospheres. Aims. We

Neutral Iron Emission Lines From The Day-side Of KELT-9b -- The GAPS Programme With HARPS-N At TNG XX [PDF]
We present the first detection of atomic emission lines from the atmosphere of an exoplanet. We detect neutral iron lines from the day-side of KELT-9b (Teq $\sim$ 4, 000 K).

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.

Hα AND Hβ PROFILE VARIATIONS IN THE SPECTRA OF THE STAR 55 CYG
We study the variability of the Hα and Hβ lines in the spectra of 55 Cyg based on observations acquired in 2014 on the 2-m telescope of Shamakhy Astrophysical Observatory.

Vigorous atmospheric motion in the red supergiant star Antares
Red supergiant stars represent a late stage of the evolution of stars more massive than about nine solar masses, in which they develop complex, multi-component atmospheres.

Microlensing of circumstellar envelopes: II. emission lines from radial and azimuthal flow during fold caustic crossings [PDF]
This paper examines the line profile evolution due to bulk motion in circumstellar envelopes during microlensing fold caustic crossing events. These events have recently been shown to be a sensitive probe of stellar surface brightness profiles, thus ...

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.
