Probing Starspot Dynamics on the Active M Dwarf TIC 272272592: A Multiyear TESS Study
We present an analysis of temporal starspot evolution and its distribution on an active rapid rotator ( P _rot = 1.22 days), TIC 272272592, using high-precision time-series photometry from the Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite spanning over 3 yr. The

Abstract Stener‐like distal injuries of the superficial medial collateral ligament (MCL) are characterized by displacement of the distal ligament stump superficial to the pes anserinus fascia, preventing anatomic healing and resulting in persistent valgus and anteromedial rotatory instability.

Effect of Time-varying X-Ray Emission from Stellar Flares on the Ionization of Protoplanetary Disks
X-rays have significant impacts on cold, weakly ionized protoplanetary disks by increasing the ionization rate and driving chemical reactions. Stellar flares are explosions that emit intense X-rays and are the unique source of hard X-rays with an energy ...

Abstract The purpose of this technical note is to describe a reproducible surgical technique for anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction combined with a lateral tenodesis using a continuous iliotibial band autograft that allows self‐augmentation of graft diameter without the need for additional tendon harvesting.

Aim Recovering dysbiosis may improve atopic dermatitis (AD) symptoms. XZ.700 is a recombinant chimeric endolysin that specifically targets Staphylococcus aureus and could be a new treatment option for patients with AD. The aim of this first‐in‐human study was to evaluate the safety, tolerability and efficacy of topical XZ.700 and explore the ...

The X-ray and extreme ultraviolet (XUV) emission from M stars can drive the atmospheric escape on planets orbiting them. M stars are also known for their frequent emission of stellar flares, which will increase the high-energy flux received by their ...

‘Where are the adults?’: Troubling child‐activism and children's political participation
Abstract Children's political participation is a well‐established theme in childhood studies. In this article we offer an original account of child activism that takes into account the entangled and emergent aspect of children as activists. We begin with a historical and a conceptual review, noting the importance of mid‐20th century developments such ...

Thermal x-rays and deuterium production in stellar flares [PDF]
The x-ray spectrum of flares is shown to be necessarily thermal up to greater than or equal to 200 keV because the self magnetic field of any electron stream required for a thick or thin target source is inconsistently large.
