Kepler main-sequence solar-like stars: surface rotation and magnetic-activity evolution
While the mission’s primary goal was focused on exoplanet detection and characterization, Kepler made and continues to make extraordinary advances in stellar physics. Stellar rotation and magnetic activity are no exceptions.

Rotating massive stars: Pre-SN models and stellar yields at solar metallicity [PDF]
We present a new set of stellar yields obtained from rotating stellar models at solar metallicity covering the massive star range (9-120 solar masses). The stellar models were calculated with the latest version of the Geneva stellar evolution code described in Hirschi et al 2004a.

MET variants in the N‐lobe of the kinase domain, found in hereditary papillary renal cell carcinoma, require ligand stimulation to promote cell transformation, in contrast to other RTK variants. This suggests that HGF expression in the microenvironment is important for tumor growth in such patients. Their sensitivity to MET inhibitors opens the way for

Living with a Red Dwarf: The Rotation–Age Relationships of M Dwarfs
Age is a fundamental stellar property, yet for many stars, it is difficult to reliably determine. For M dwarfs, it has been notoriously so. Due to their lower masses, core hydrogen fusion proceeds at a much slower rate in M dwarfs than it does in more ...

NAD+ regeneration by mitochondrial complex I NADH dehydrogenase is important for cancer cell proliferation. Specifically, NAD+ is necessary for the activities of NAD+‐dependent deacetylases SIRT3 and SIRT7, which suppress the expression of p21Cip1 cyclin‐dependent kinase inhibitor, an antiproliferative molecule, at the translational and transcriptional

Differential Rotation of CoRoT Stars and a Kepler Binary Star from Starspot Transit Mapping
While direct magnetic field measurements are rare for slowly rotating stars, spots observed during planetary transits provide a potential indicator of magnetic activity on stellar surfaces.

Stellar Rotation in UCL/LCC with TESS
In recent years, we have been using K2's high precision photometry to probe stellar variability and stellar rotation to lower masses and lower amplitudes than has ever been done before. Younger stars are generally more rapidly rotating and have larger star spots than older stars of similar masses.

On the bimodal distribution of stellar rotation in young open clusters [PDF]
Observations of young open clusters show a bimodal distribution of stellar rotation. Sun-like stars in those clusters group into two main sub-populations of fast and slow rotators. Beyond an age of about 500 Myrs, the two populations converge towards a single peak distribution of angular velocities.

CircCCNB1 expression is down‐regulated in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC); thus, less NF90 protein is bound to circCCNB1 and more binds to pri‐miRNAs, blocking their (pri‐miRNAs) binding to DGCR8 and inhibiting the processing and generation of miR‐15b‐5p/miR‐7‐1‐3p. Furthermore, decreased miR‐15b‐5p/miR‐7‐1‐3p promotes the expression of the target genes

Surveys of exoplanet host stars are valuable tools for assessing population level trends in exoplanets, and their outputs can include stellar ages, activity, and rotation periods.
