Validation of performance-based bonus STOP-signal task

open access: yes, 2021
1.1. Impulsivity and its related constructs Impulse control and behavioral inhibition concerns with many aspects of our day-to-day life. The multidimensional nature of impulsivity calls for a careful examination of all of its related constructs ...

The development of cognitive control in children with autism spectrum disorder or obsessive-compulsive disorder: A longitudinal fMRI study

open access: yesNeuroImage: Reports, 2021
Repetitive behavior is a core symptom of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and has been associated with impairments in cognitive control.

P2-14: Noise Effect to Cross-Modality Stop Signal Task in Patients with Attention-Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder

open access: yesi-Perception, 2012
Background: Response inhibition has been proposed as a core element of attention-deficit / hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). ADHD has two subtypes: the hyperactivity and combined subtype (ADHDcom) was considered to have more inhibition deficit, while the ...

RT distribution in the decision-making task, the Eriksen flanker task and the stop signal task.

open access: yes, 2022
A-E: RT distribution of neurotypical individuals (Neurotypical) and PD patients (PD) in the instructed trials (A) and choice trials (B) of the decision-making task; in the congruent trials (C) and incongruent trials (D) of the Eriksen flanker task; and ...

Stop-signal task procedure.

open access: yes, 2013
The stop-signal task consisted of go and stop trials. All trials began central fixation. Following offset of the central fixation, a white peripheral dot was presented to the left or right of the fixation.

Health‐Related Quality of Life and Symptom Severity Among Patients With PIK3CA‐Related Overgrowth Spectrum: A Mixed‐Methods Study to Understand Real‐World Experience With Alpelisib Treatment

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background PIK3CA‐related overgrowth spectrum (PROS) includes several rare overgrowth disorders resulting from somatic gain‐of‐function mutations in PIK3CA. Despite treatment advances, including the recent approval of alpelisib for PROS in the United States, literature detailing the patient experience with PROS is limited.

Stopping, goal-conflict, trait anxiety and frontal rhythmic power in the stop-signal task [PDF]

open access: yesCognitive, Affective, & Behavioral Neuroscience, 2011
The medial right frontal cortex is implicated in fast stopping of an initiated motor action in the stop-signal task (SST). To assess whether this region is also involved in the slower behavioural inhibition induced by goal conflict, we tested for effects of goal conflict (when stop and go tendencies are balanced) on low-frequency rhythms in the SST ...

Serological Benefit of SARS‐CoV‐2 Vaccination Relative to Infection in Children With Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) are at risk of severe outcomes from SARS‐CoV‐2 (SCV2). In the post‐pandemic context, where most children have been infected with SCV2, there are limited data on whether vaccination remains beneficial in children with ALL.

Stop-signal response inhibition in schizophrenia : Behavioural, event-related potential and functional neuroimaging data

open access: yes, 2012
Inhibitory control deficits are well documented in schizophrenia, supported by impairment in an established measure of response inhibition, the stop-signal reaction time (SSRT).

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.
