Store atmosphere, darkness and consumers' evaluations
Consumers are exposed to multiple sensory cues when shopping in retail stores, and indeed the store atmosphere influences consumer’s evaluations and shopping behaviour. The present research investigates how dim versus bright illumination affects consumer’s multisensory cue congruency perception and consumers’ evaluations.
