Epigenetic heterogeneity and plasticity in therapy‐induced tumor states through single‐cell multi‐omics

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single‐cell multi‐omics reveals epigenetic heterogeneity across therapy‐adaptive tumor states, including quiescent/dormant, drug‐tolerant persister, and EMT‐like phenotypes. By linking regulatory features with state‐associated biomarkers, these approaches inform biomarker‐guided therapeutic strategies for evolving tumors.

The effect of strain rate sensitivity on the prediction of the formability of advanced high strength steels [PDF]

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences
This paper analyzes the effect of strain rate sensitivity on the prediction of formability of advanced high-strength steels (AHSS). Three conventional dual-phase (DP) steels, 590DP, 980DP and 1180DP, and two third-generation AHSS grades with ultimate ...

Mycobacterial cell division arrest and smooth‐to‐rough envelope transition using CRISPRi‐mediated genetic repression systems

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
CRISPRI‐mediated gene silencing and phenotypic exploration in nontuberculous mycobacteria. In this Research Protocol, we describe approaches to control, monitor, and quantitatively assess CRISPRI‐mediated gene silencing in M. smegmatis and M. abscessus model organisms.

Strain-rate sensitivity and stress relaxation of hybrid self-reinforced polypropylene composites under bending loads

open access: yesComposite structures, 2019
The strain-rate sensitivity and stress relaxation of self-reinforced polypropylene (SRPP) and hybrid carbon fibre/SRPP composites were analysed under bending loads. For this purpose, three point bending static tests were performed at room temperature and

Strain rate sensitivity metrics of PSU and PPSU high-performance polymers in extrusion-based additive manufacturing

open access: yesResults in Engineering
High-performance polymers (HPPs), combined with material extrusion (MEX) additive manufacturing (AM), compile a powerful manufacturing system, suitable to meet the challenges of demanding industries. Their ability to undergo high strain rates is not well

Erythropoietin modulates hepatic inflammation, glucose homeostasis, and soluble epoxide hydrolase and epoxides in high‐fat diet‐induced obese mice

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Erythropoietin administration suppresses hepatic soluble epoxide hydrolase (sEH) expression, leading to increased CYP‐derived epoxides. This is associated with a shift in hepatic macrophage polarization characterized by reduced M1 markers and increased M2 markers, along with reduced hepatic inflammation, suppressed hepatic lipogenesis, and attenuated ...

The strain-rate effect of engineering materials and its unified model

open access: yesLatin American Journal of Solids and Structures
The test data of metals, brittle materials and polymers in high, medium and low strain-rate range were summarized. It was found that the dynamic strength or yield stress of these materials was not sensitive to strain-rate in the low and high strain-rate ...

Exon 7 splicing of ERα predicts poor prognosis and increases phenotypic heterogeneity in luminal a subtype breast cancer

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
ERα splice variant ERα∆7 lacks the C‐terminus, and its expression may change phenotypes of breast cancers. Our results showed that ERα∆7 is found in the luminal A subtype, and elevated ERα∆7 levels are linked to improved cell survival with lower proliferation and migration.
