An improved initial alignment method based on adaptive robust CKF algorithm
When the misalignment angle is a large angle in the strapdown inertial navigation system (SINS), it is necessary to establish a nonlinear error model to estimate the error.

Geometric Approach to Strapdown Magnetometer Calibration in Sensor Frame [PDF]
In this work a new algorithm is derived for the onboard calibration of three-axis strapdown magnetometers. The proposed calibration method is written in the sensor frame, and compensates for the combined effect of all linear time-invariant distortions, namely soft iron, hard iron, sensor nonorthogonality, and bias, among others.

Abstract The Antarctic Peninsula is a unique sector of the circum‐Pacific continental margin arc where subduction ceased due to a series of ridge‐trench collisions, preserving a relatively un‐deformed magmatic arc. This region, therefore, has the potential to provide key insights into how subduction systems behave during their final stages.
