Data‐driven observability analysis and enhancement for radome slope estimation with constraints on impact angle and terminal acceleration

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar &Navigation, Volume 18, Issue 10, Page 1887-1907, October 2024.
The authors propose a data‐driven observability analysis method for radome aberration estimation systems with LOS‐angle‐only measurements, and an observability‐enhanced guidance law that considers both impact angle and terminal acceleration constraints.

SHAKF‐PU: Sage–Husa Adaptive Kalman Filtering‐Based Pedestrian Characteristic Parameter Update Mechanism for Enhancing Step Length Estimation in Pedestrian Dead Reckoning

open access: yesApplied Bionics and Biomechanics, Volume 2024, Issue 1, 2024.
Step length estimation (SLE) is the core process for pedestrian dead reckoning (PDR) for indoor positioning. Original SLE requires accurate estimations of pedestrian characteristic parameter (PCP) by the linear update, which may cause large distance errors.

Improved Pedestrian Location Method for the Indoor Environment Based on MIMU and sEMG Sensors

open access: yesJournal of Sensors, Volume 2024, Issue 1, 2024.
In order to guarantee the pedestrian location accuracy for the indoor environment, an improved pedestrian location method based on the improved Mahony complementary filter algorithm is proposed by the data fusion of microinertial measurement unit (MIMU) and sEMG sensors, which are installed on the lower limbs.

Stability Analysis of Missiles with Strapdown Seeker [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the Korean Society for Aeronautical & Space Sciences, 2011
A missile with a strapdown seeker should properly estimate line-of-sight(LOS) rate using its attitude information and the look angle of the seeker because LOS rate information in an inertial coordinate system, which is used for a proportional navigation(PN) homing guidance, can not be obtained directly.

A Robust Self-Alignment Method for Ship’s Strapdown INS Under Mooring Conditions

open access: yesSensors, 2013
Strapdown inertial navigation systems (INS) need an alignment process to determine the initial attitude matrix between the body frame and the navigation frame. The conventional alignment process is to compute the initial attitude matrix using the gravity

Impact Angle Control Guidance Law With Seeker’s Field-of-View Constraint Based on Logarithm Barrier Lyapunov Function

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
In recent years, the strapdown system has become the significant trend of the development of precision guided weapons. In order to effectively hit the lightly armored targets, researchers have done a series of studies on the impact angle control. However,

A network approach for strapdown inertial kinematic gravimetry

open access: yes, 2023
Compared to the conventional ground measurement of gravity, airborne gravimetry is more efficient and cost-effective. Especially, the combination of GPS and INS is known to show very good performances recovering the gravity signal in the range of medium frequencies (1--100 km).
