Abstract Lipofuscin (LF) is an intracellular aggregate associated with proteostatic impairments, especially prevalent in nondividing skeletal muscle fibers. Reactive oxygen species (ROS) drive LF‐formation. Resistance training (RT) improves muscle performance but also increases ROS production, potentially promoting LF‐formation.
