Low expression of five purine metabolism‐related genes (ADSL, APRT, ADCY3, NME3, NME6) was correlated with poor survival in colorectal cancer. Immunohistochemistry analysis showed that low NME3 (early stage) and low ADSL/NME6 (late stage) levels were associated with high risk.

Generalized wordlength patterns and strength
Xu and Wu (2001) defined the \emph{generalized wordlength pattern} $(A_1, ..., A_k)$ of an arbitrary fractional factorial design (or orthogonal array) on $k$ factors.

How do muscle and bone strengthening and balance activities (MBSBA) vary across the life course, and are there particular ages where MBSBA are most important? [PDF]
This narrative review focuses on the role of strength and balance activities throughout the lifecycle to improve physical capacity and reduce all-cause mortality.

A review of experimental modal analysis methods and their applications in aerospace vehicles
Experimental modal analysis is a method of measuring the natural vibration characteristics of a structure through experiments. The analysis results are mainly used to modify the structural dynamic models and provide data support for structural dynamics ...

The Strength Effects of Saturating Paper Containing Synthetic Fiber [PDF]
One of the most important objectives in the papermaking process is to produce paper with good strength properties. Some specialty paper grades need strength properties which exceed those attainable when only wood fiber is present in the final product. To

Integrating ancestry, differential methylation analysis, and machine learning, we identified robust epigenetic signature genes (ESGs) and Core‐ESGs in Black and White women with endometrial cancer. Core‐ESGs (namely APOBEC1 and PLEKHG5) methylation levels were significantly associated with survival, with tumors from high African ancestry (THA) showing ...

Study on high-low cycle fretting fatigue life of Inconel718 tenon structure
The turbine blades of aero-engines are subjected to cyclic high-low cycle loads in actual service environments, which is a typical high-low cycle micro motion fatigue condition. The frequent occurrence of fatigue fracture in turbine blades due to fretting

Universality of Strength of Yukawa Couplings, Quark Singlets and Strength of CP Violation [PDF]
We analyse the strength of CP violation in an extension of the standard model with an extra $Q=-1/3$ vector-like singlet quark, in the framework of the hypothesis of universality of strength of Yukawa couplings connecting standard quarks. We show that the correct pattern of quark masses and mixing can be obtained, including the observed strength of CP ...
