Influence of microrays on the fibrinolytic activities of streptokinase and streptodornase [PDF]
The results of our study may briefly be summarized as follows: 1) The irradiation with microrays (20∼30 watts) similar as 2,000 R and 5,000 R Gamma radiation did not substantially affect the activity of fibrinolysin (SK+SD).

Mechanical Stability and Fibrinolytic Resistance of Clots Containing Fibrin, DNA, and Histones [PDF]
Neutrophil extracellular traps are networks of DNA and associated proteins produced by nucleosome release from activated neutrophils in response to infection stimuli and have recently been identified as key mediators between innate immunity, inflammation,

Results on $ββ$ decay with emission of two neutrinos or Majorons in $^{76}$Ge from GERDA Phase I [PDF]
A search for neutrinoless $\beta\beta$ decay processes accompanied with Majoron emission has been performed using data collected during Phase I of the GERmanium Detector Array (GERDA) experiment at the Laboratori Nazionali del Gran Sasso of INFN (Italy). Processes with spectral indices n = 1, 2, 3, 7 were searched for.

Nuclear dependence of light neutral meson production in p-A collisions at 400 GeV with NA60 [PDF]
The NA60 experiment has studied low-mass muon pair production in proton-nucleus collisions with a system of Be, Cu, In, W, Pb and U targets, using a 400 GeV proton beam at the CERN SPS. The transverse momentum spectra of the $\rho/\omega$ and $\phi$ mesons are measured in the full $p_\mathrm{T}$ range accessible, from $p_\mathrm{T} = 0$ up to 2 GeV/$c$.

Spectrophotometric analysis of thrombolytic activity: SATA assay [PDF]
Introduction: Measurement of thrombolytic activity i.e. clot lysis is crucial for research and development of novel thrombolytics. It is also a key factor in assessment of the effectiveness of conventionally used thrombolytic agents in the clinic, which ...

Extending the TIME concept: what have we learned in the past 10 years?*
The TIME acronym (tissue, infection/inflammation, moisture balance and edge of wound) was first developed more than 10 years ago, by an international group of wound healing experts, to provide a framework for a structured approach to wound bed preparation; a basis for optimising the management of open chronic wounds healing by secondary intention ...

Thoracic duct fistula and renal transplantation [PDF]
Thoracic duct drainage (TDD) was established for 21-115 days in 40 kidney recipients with an average removal per patient day of 4.7 1 lymph and 1.88 billion cells. Cellular and humoral immunity were depressed. TDD and immunosuppressive drugs were started
