Tr(F 3) supersymmetric form factors and maximal transcendentality. Part II. 0 < N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ < 4 super Yang-Mills

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2018
The study of form factors has many phenomenologically interesting applications, one of which is Higgs plus gluon amplitudes in QCD. Through effective field theory techniques these are related to form factors of various operators of increasing classical ...

Twisted compactifications of 6D field theories from maximal 7D gauged supergravity

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2020
We study supersymmetric $$AdS_n\times \Sigma ^{7-n}$$ AdSn×Σ7-n , $$n=2,3,4,5$$ n=2,3,4,5 solutions in seven-dimensional maximal gauged supergravity with $$CSO(p,q,5-p-q)$$ CSO(p,q,5-p-q) and $$CSO(p,q,4-p-q)$$ CSO(p,q,4-p-q) gauge groups.

Method for analysis of planar motion of system with rigid and extremely flexible components via analogy with contact problem of rigid bodies

open access: yesMechanical Engineering Journal, 2021
Recent years have witnessed attempts to employ a system with rigid and extremely flexible components (SREF), usually consisting of strings, membranes, and so on, to realize huge structures for spacecraft in orbit.

Quantitative proteomic analysis reveals different characteristics of bladder cancer cells after exposure to bisphenol A

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Bisphenol A (BPA), a common chemical in plastics, exerts dual effects on bladder cancer cells: low doses promote growth and migration, while high doses suppress growth and migration. Multi‐omics and bioinformatics reveal BPA acts via MAPK and inflammatory pathways.

String Stability and a Delay-Based Spacing Policy for Vehicle Platoons Subject to Disturbances [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, 2017
A novel delay-based spacing policy for the control of vehicle platoons is introduced together with a notion of disturbance string stability. The delay-based spacing policy specifies the desired intervehicular distance between vehicles and guarantees that

Refinement of amino‐acid conformation vs. difference density maps in time‐resolved serial femtosecond crystallography data analysis

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
The dFoCC pipeline starts with observed DED and resting‐state coordinates, which are then used to generate a library of triggered states. Correlation analysis of the calculated DED features of each candidate vs observed DED permits quantitative evaluation of candidate structural quality.

Two-dimensional SCFTs from matter-coupled $$7D~N=2$$ 7DN=2 gauged supergravity

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2019
We study supersymmetric $$AdS_3\times M^4$$ AdS3×M4 solutions of $$N=2$$ N=2 gauged supergravity in seven dimensions coupled to three vector multiplets with $$SO(4)\sim SO(3)\times SO(3)$$ SO(4)∼SO(3)×SO(3) gauge group and $$M^4$$ M4 being a four ...

String theory and string Newton–Cartan geometry [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Physics A: Mathematical and Theoretical, 2019
Nonrelativistic string theory is described by a sigma model with a relativistic worldsheet and a nonrelativistic target spacetime geometry, that is called string Newton–Cartan geometry.

String duality and nonsupersymmetric strings [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 1998
In recent work Kachru, Kumar and Silverstein introduced a special class of non-supersymmetric type II string theories in which the cosmological constant vanishes at the first two orders of perturbation theory. Heuristic arguments suggest the cosmological constant may vanish in these theories to all orders in perturbation theory leading to a flat ...
