Note about T-duality of non-relativistic string
In this note we perform canonical analysis of T-duality for non-relativistic string in stringy Newton-Cartan background. We confirm recent result that T-duality along longitudinal spatial direction of stringy Newton-Cartan geometry maps non-relativistic ...

Duality in String Cosmology [PDF]
Scale factor duality, a truncated form of time dependent T-duality, is a symmetry of string effective action in cosmological backgrounds interchanging small and large scale factors.

T-duality and high-derivative gravity theories: the BTZ black hole/string paradigm
We show that the temperature and entropy of a BTZ black hole are invariant under T-duality to next to leading order in M ⋆− 2, M ⋆ being the scale suppressing higher-curvature/derivative terms in the Lagrangian. We work in the framework of a twoparameter

Quantum corrected black holes from string T-duality
In this letter we present some stringy corrections to black hole spacetimes emerging from string T-duality. As a first step, we derive the static Newtonian potential by exploiting the relation between the T-duality and the path integral duality.

T-duality equivalences beyond string theory
We examine a two parameter family of gravitational actions which contains higher-derivative terms. These are such that the entire action is invariant under corrected T-duality rules, which we derive explicitly.

Spinor-Vector Duality and the Swampland
The Swampland Program aims to address the question, “when does an effective field theory model of quantum gravity have an ultraviolet complete embedding in string theory?”, and can be regarded as a bottom-up approach for investigations of quantum gravity.

Dual D-brane actions in nonrelativistic string theory
We study worldvolume actions for D-branes coupled to the worldvolume U(1) gauge field and Ramond-Ramond (RR) potentials in nonrelativistic string theory.

This is the second in a two-part paper devoted to studying entanglement entropy and edge modes in the A model topological string theory. This theory enjoys a gauge-string (Gopakumar-Vafa) duality which is a topological analogue of AdS/CFT.
