This project developed a smart bandage‐like patch (a microneedle array) for repairing diabetic bone damage. It intelligently senses signals from infection and inflammation, then releases its medicines in a specific, timed sequence: first an antibacterial agent, then an anti‐inflammatory agent, and finally growth factors.

Smooth supergravity solutions and string states [PDF]
In this thesis we study smooth supergravity solutions and their relation to string theory in two different contexts; quotient spaces and asymptotically flat solitonic solutions.

A class of non-supersymmetric open string vacua
We analyze non-supersymmetric four-dimensional open string models of type IIB string theory compactified on T2×K3 with Scherk–Schwarz deformation acting on an S1 of the T2 torus.

Advanced Design for Weakly Coupled Resonators by Automatic Active Optimization
An Automatic Active Optimization (AAO) strategy integrates machine learning predictors and genetic algorithms in a closed‐loop workflow. By iteratively expanding its dataset with new discoveries, AAO overcomes the limits of conventional methods. This approach finds superior microstructural designs beyond the initial sample space. We demonstrate this on

Conformal field theories on random surfaces and the non-critical string [PDF]
Recently, it has become increasingly clear that boundaries play a significant role in the understanding of the non-perturbative phase of the dynamics of strings.

Glueballs in the string quark model
It is shown that the eigenstates of the quantized simplest closed (elliptic) Nambu -- Goto string, called glueballs, have quantum numbers I^Gj^{PC}=0^+j^{++}. Lightest glueballs have spins j=0,1 and 2 and the same mass 1500 +/- 20 MeV. They correspond to f_0(1500), f_1(1510) and f_2(1565)- mesons. Next glueballs have j=0,1,2,3,4 and the same mass 2610 +

Integrable String Models in Terms of Chiral Invariants of SU(n), SO(n), SP(n) Groups
We considered two types of string models: on the Riemmann space of string coordinates with null torsion and on the Riemman-Cartan space of string coordinates with constant torsion.

Autoencoder-driven clustering of intersecting D-brane models via tadpole charge
We study the well-known type IIA intersecting D-brane models on the T 6 / ℤ 2 × ℤ 2 ′ $$ {T}^6/\left({\mathbb{Z}}_2\times {\mathbb{Z}}_2^{\prime}\right) $$ orientifold via a machine-learning approach.

Scalable Task Planning via Large Language Models and Structured World Representations
This work efficiently combines graph‐based world representations with the commonsense knowledge in Large Language Models to enhance planning techniques for the large‐scale environments that modern robots will need to face. Planning methods often struggle with computational intractability when solving task‐level problems in large‐scale environments ...

Higher derivative corrections to string inflation
We quantitatively estimate the leading higher derivative corrections to N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 1 supergravity derived from IIB string compactifications and study how they may affect moduli stabilisation and LVS inflation models.
