On some strongly regular relations on hyperrings
In this paper first by the fact that the relation $ ^*$ is the transitive closure of two its subrelations we introduce and analyze a binary relation $ ^*_e$ on a hyperring such that the derived ring is a unitary ring. Next we introduce and study the notion of $ _e$-parts in a hyperring and we characterize $ _e$-parts in a $ _e$-strong hyperring $R$

Bidirectional transformations between different data representations occur frequently in modern software systems. They appear as serializers and deserializers, as database views and view updaters, and more. Manually building bidirectional transformations-

Revealing the structure of land plant photosystem II: the journey from negative‐stain EM to cryo‐EM
Advances in cryo‐EM have revealed the detailed structure of Photosystem II, a key protein complex driving photosynthesis. This review traces the journey from early low‐resolution images to high‐resolution models, highlighting how these discoveries deepen our understanding of light harvesting and energy conversion in plants.

Effects of acute cervical stretching on arterial wall elastic properties
Purpose: Acute (immediate) or regular (mid- or long-term) stretching increases arterial compliance and reduces arterial stiffness. Stretching is widely known to induce arterial functional factor changes, but it is unclear whether stretching alters ...

Another construction of edge-regular graphs with regular cliques
We exhibit a new construction of edge-regular graphs with regular cliques that are not strongly regular. The infinite family of graphs resulting from this construction includes an edge-regular graph with parameters $(24,8,2)$.

Atovaquone is an antimalarial requiring potentiation for sufficient efficacy. We pursued strategies to enhance its activity, showing that 4‐nitrobenzoate inhibits 4‐hydroxybenzoate polyprenyltransferase, decreasing ubiquinone biosynthesis. Since atovaquone competes with ubiquinol in mitochondria, 4‐nitrobenzoate facilitates its action, potentiating ...

The automorphism group of a class of strongly regular graphs related to
AbstractIn [A. Devillers, H. Van Maldeghem, Partial linear spaces built on hexagons, European J. Combin. 28 (2007) 901–915], Devillers and Van Maldeghem determined the automorphism group of four classes of geometries that have as collinearity graph the graph Γ(q) of all elliptic hyperplanes of a given parabolic quadric Q(6,q) in PG(6,q) (adjacency is ...

Arsenic exposure in Indo Gangetic plains of Bihar causing increased cancer risk
Reportedly, 300 million people worldwide are affected by the consumption of arsenic contaminated groundwater. India prominently figures amongst them and the state of Bihar has shown an upsurge in cases affected by arsenic poisoning.

Cells must clear mislocalized or faulty proteins from membranes to survive. The AAA+ ATPase Msp1 performs this task, but dissecting how its six subunits work together is challenging. We engineered linked dimers with varied numbers of functional subunits to reveal how Msp1 subunits cooperate and use energy to extract proteins from the lipid bilayer ...

Transitivity of the εm-relation on (m-idempotent) hyperrings
On a general hyperring, there is a fundamental relation, denoted γ*, such that the quotient set is a classical ring. In a previous paper, the authors defined the relation εm on general hyperrings, proving that its transitive closure εm∗$\begin{array}{} \
