Strongly Regular Graphs [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
Strongly regular grahphs and directed strongly regular graphs are introduced. Examples of strongly regular graphs are give: Conference graph and latin square graphs. The existence of a directed strongly regular graph with t=0.

Strongly regular graphs and finite Ramsey theory [PDF]

open access: yes, 1982
Some connections between strongly regular graphs and finite Ramsey theory are drawn. Let Bn denote the graph K2+K̄n. If there exists a strongly regular graph with parameters (υ, k, λ, μ), then the Ramsey number r(Bλ+1, Bυ−2k+μ −1)⩾υ+1.

The architecture of partisan debates: The online controversy on the no-deal Brexit.

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2022
We propose a framework to analyse partisan debates that involves extracting, classifying and exploring the latent argumentation structure and dynamics of online societal controversies.

On(strongly) regular relations on soft topological hypergroups

open access: yesFilomat
In the first step, we determine some conditions for having a topological complete hypergroup by defining the geometric space obtained from each strongly regular relation. Then applying set theory, we introduce the concepts of ?soft geometric spaces,? ?soft topological hypergroups,? and ?(strongly) regular relations? on soft hypergroups.

Comparative Evaluation of Hemodiafiltration, Hemoperfusion, and Standard Hemodialysis on Efficacy, Inflammatory Control, Dialysis Adequacy, and Safety in End‐Stage Renal Disease: A Prospective Observational Study

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Chronic micro‐inflammation in patients with end‐stage renal disease (ESRD) is a significant driver of cardiovascular complications and diminished quality of life. While standard hemodialysis (SHD) effectively manages small‐molecule clearance, its ability to remove medium‐to‐large uremic toxins—the primary catalysts of systemic ...

On strongly regular graphs [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Strongly regular graphs are regular graphs with the additional property that the number of common neighbours for two vertices depends only on whether the vertices are adjacent or non-adjacent. From an algebraic point of view, a graph is strongly regular

Transitivity of the εm-relation on (m-idempotent) hyperrings

open access: yesOpen Mathematics, 2018
On a general hyperring, there is a fundamental relation, denoted γ*, such that the quotient set is a classical ring. In a previous paper, the authors defined the relation εm on general hyperrings, proving that its transitive closure εm∗$\begin{array}{} \

Effect of Aerobic Exercise training on Insulin Resistance among Non-Diabetic Heart Failure Patients

open access: yesInternational Egyptian Journal of Nursing Sciences and Research, 2023
: Insulin resistance is more particular to exist in patients with heart failure and is strongly in relation to level of physical activity. Aerobic exercises have been shown to ameliorate the insulin signaling through different molecular mechanisms.

Transferrin receptor 1‐mediated iron uptake supports thermogenic activation in human cervical‐derived adipocytes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

On strongly regular bicirculants [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
An ▫$n$▫-bicirculantis a graph having an automorphism with two orbits of length ▫$n$▫ and no other orbits. This article deals with strongly regular bicirculants.
