Crystal structure of `Pb'-1234 superconductor
Physica C: Superconductivity, 1998Abstract A sample with a nominal composition of Pb:Sr:Ca:Cu=5.0:28.0:27.0:40.0 has been prepared by using a high-pressure synthesis technique. A micro-composition analysis by an energy dispersive X-ray (EDX) measurement indicated that the ratio of cations in the main phase was Pb:Sr:Ca:Cu=5.5:24.6:27.9:41.4.

Lead(II)-carboxylates are important precursors for preparing Pb-based semiconductor nanocrystals (NCs). However, the atomic structure of common Pb-carboxylate precursors (e.g., Pb-oleate) remains elusive. Here, we use a rigid yet soluble 4-tert-butylbenzoate (TBBA) as a model ligand to probe the binding and reactivity of Pb-carboxylates.

Electronic Structure of PbS, PbSe, and PbTe
physica status solidi (b), 1970AbstractThe electronic band structures of PbS, PbSe, and PbTe have been calculated using the relativistic Green's function method. The choice of a relativistic atomic potential for Pb and of nonrelativistic atomic potentials for S, Se, and Te inthe muffin‐tin spheres results in similar band models for the lead salts.

The structure of Bacillus subtilis bacteriophage PBS 1

Two unique structures were observed: several large helical tail fibers, and a number of “contraction fibers” seen only on contracted particles.
