Surface electronic structure of Pb(001), Pb(110), and Pb(111)
Physical Review B, 1994We report the results of surface electronic-structure calculations for the three low-index faces of elemental Pb. To our knowledge, these are the first calculations for the Pb(110) and Pb(111) surfaces addressing their electronic structure. The underlying bulk crystal is described by a realistic second-nearest-neighbor empirical tight-binding ...

The structure of molten K-Pb, Rb-Pb and Cs-Pb alloys
Journal of Physics: Condensed Matter, 1991The authors have considered previously published neutron diffraction data, obtained at two different sources, on the molten alloys KxPb1-x, RbPb and CsPb. The difference between results for the same system obtained at the two sources has been shown to be attributable to instrumental resolution.

Photoresponse and barrier height of Pb-Pb oxide-Pb sandwich structures
Applied Physics Letters, 1975The spectral dependence of the photocurrent in Pb-Pb oxide-Pb structures is investigated varying both the electrode thickness and the resistance of the junctions. The samples exhibit sign reversal of the photocurrent with changing photon energy hν. The effect is strongly controlled by the electrode thickness and direction of illumination.
