Parallel–serial (hybrid) manipulators represent robotic systems composed of kinematic chains with parallel and serial structures. These manipulators combine the benefits of both parallel and serial mechanisms, such as increased stiffness, high ...

Imperfect Market or Imperfect Theory: A Unified Analytical Theory of Production and Capital Structure of Firms [PDF]
We present a unified analytical theory of production and capital structure of firms. It is extended from an analytical theory of production, whose main result is an analytical formula of variable cost of production as a function of fixed cost and ...

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Design Optimization of a Parallel–Serial Manipulator Considering Stiffness Criteria
In this paper, we analyze stiffness and perform geometrical optimization of a parallel–serial manipulator with five degrees of freedom (5-DOF). The manipulator includes a 3-DOF redundantly actuated planar parallel mechanism, whose stiffness determines ...

The naive-commutative structure on rational equivariant K-theory
The uniqueness of complex $K$-theory as an $E_\infty$ ring spectrum was shown by Baker and Richter in 2005 using obstruction theory. Working rationally, we show for any finite abelian group this extends uniquely to a naive-commutative ring structure for

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.

Mapping theory without argument structure
Asudeh and Giorgolo (2012) offer an analysis of optional and derived arguments that does away with argument structure as a separate level of representation within the architecture of Lexical Functional Grammar in favour of encoding much of this ...

Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

Quantifying the electrochemical kinetics of battery positive-electrode crystal facets
Improving the reaction kinetics of LiNi0.8Mn0.1Co0.1O2 is of great importance for realizing batteries with both high energy and power density. The promotion of electrochemical kinetics, i.e. exchange current density of LiNi0.8Mn0.1Co0.1O2 materials, is a
