Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) play a special role in the modern economy. At the same time, the difficulty in accessing sources of financing is the main barrier limiting the development of this sector.

Lorentz invariant field theory on κ-Minkowski space
It is by now well established that the momentum space associated with the non-commutative κ-Minkowski space is a submanifold of de Sitter space. It has been noted recently that field theories built on such momentum space suffer from a subtle form of ...

Twist operators in N = 4 betadeformed theory [PDF]
In this paper we derive both the leading order finite size corrections for twist-2 and twist-3 operators and the next-to-leading order finite-size correction for twist-2 operators in beta-deformed SYM theory. The obtained results respect the principle of

Introduction. When data challenges theory [PDF]
This article provides a comprehensive survey on current research on information structure so as to clarify some ‘paradoxical’ effects stemming from the tension between data and theory.

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Decompositions for Based Algebras with Bilinear Forms: A Graph Theory Connection
We consider the category of based algebras with bilinear forms and show that any object in this category decomposes as a direct sum of irreducible orthogonal ideals.

On the theory of graded structures
A new structural algebraic framework is given to the concept and the construction of the generalized standard bases. Graded structure over a commutative ring \(A\), \(v\)-filtered structure on \(A\), modules over a graded structure, modules on the \(v\)-filtered structures and the corresponding morphisms as well as their relationship are considered ...

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

The Theological Structure of Evolutionary Theory
Evolutionary theory has greatly influenced science and technology, but in recent decades contemporary scholarship has demonstrated religious influence in evolutionary thought. Religious premises do not merely provide insight; they underwrite evolutionary
