Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi drive bacterial community assembly in halophyte Suaeda salsa
Microbiological ResearchHalophytes inhabit saline soils, wherein most plants cannot grow, therefore, their ecological value is outstanding. Arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungi can reconstruct microbial communities to assist plants with stress tolerance. However, little information is available on the microbial community assembly of AM fungi in halophytes.

Suaeda salsa L. is a typical halophyte with high value as a vegetable. Here, we report a 447.98 Mb, chromosomal‐level genome of S. salsa, assembled into nine pseudomolecules (contig N50 = 1.36 Mb) and annotated with 27,927 annotated protein‐coding genes.

Suaeda salsa in Relation to Hydrological Connectivity: From the View of Plant Trait Networks
Journal of Environmental InformaticsHow plant traits respond to environment changes has been given more concerns worldwide. However, it is hard to reveal the integrative responses of plants only based on independent plant traits without considering the close links among plant traits. Plant

Karyological and morphological variability of Suaeda salsa (L.) Pall. in Bulgaria
2022The karyological and morphological intrapopulation and interpopulation variability of Suaeda salsa populations in Bulgaria have been studied in quest of reliable characteristics to distinguish the species from the remaining members of the genus. In all studied populations a tetraploid chromosome number 2n = 36 and a karyotype of metacentric and ...
