Accuracy and Uncertainty Analysis of PSBT Benchmark Exercises Using a Subchannel Code MATRA

open access: yesScience and Technology of Nuclear Installations, 2012
In the framework of the OECD/NRC PSBT benchmark, the subchannel grade void distribution data and DNB data were assessed by a subchannel code, MATRA. The prediction accuracy and uncertainty of the zone-averaged void fraction at the central region of the 5

Design of a Hilbert Curve Fractal MIMO Slot Antenna With Enhanced Bandwidth and Stable Radiation Patterns for Wi‐Fi 7 and Wi‐Fi 8 Applications Using Genetic Algorithm

open access: yesInternational Journal of Antennas and Propagation, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
Next‐generation Wi‐Fi 7 (IEEE 802.11be) and Wi‐Fi 8 (IEEE 802.11bn) demand compact multielement antennas offering wide bandwidth, high isolation, and stable radiation within limited device space. Conventional MIMO designs often face strong coupling, narrow bandwidth, or low efficiency, restricting high‐throughput multilink performance.

Enhanced C-V2X Mode-4 Subchannel Selection [PDF]

open access: yes2018 IEEE 88th Vehicular Technology Conference (VTC-Fall), 2018
In Release 14, the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) introduced Cellular Vehicle--to--Everything (C-V2X) \textit{mode-4} as a novel disruptive technology to support sidelink vehicular communications in out--of--coverage scenarios. C-V2X \textit{mode-4} has been engineered to operate in a distributed manner, wherein vehicles autonomously monitor

Room‐Temperature Single Li+ Ion Conducting Organic Solid‐State Electrolyte with 10−4 S cm−1 Conductivity for Lithium‐Metal Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, Volume 15, Issue 47, December 16, 2025.
A molecularly engineered disulfonated COF film enables fast and directional Li⁺ conduction via inter‐subchannel hopping with reduced migration barriers, as confirmed by molecular dynamics simulations. The 20 µm‐thick COF exhibits high crystallinity and smooth morphology, delivering 1.0 × 10‒4 S cm−1 conductivity and ≈95% capacity retention over 300 ...

Flow Distribution and Pressure Loss in Subchannels of a Wire-Wrapped 37-pin Rod Bundle for a Sodium-Cooled Fast Reactor

open access: yesNuclear Engineering and Technology, 2016
A hexagonally arrayed 37-pin wire-wrapped rod bundle has been chosen to provide the experimental data of the pressure loss and flow rate in subchannels for validating subchannel analysis codes for the sodium-cooled fast reactor core thermal/hydraulic ...

Adaptive Subchannel Allocation For Mc-Cdma System

open access: yes, 2007
Multicarrier code-division multiple-access is one of the effective techniques to gain its multiple access capability, robustness against fading, and to mitigate the ISI. In this paper, we propose an improved mulcarrier CDMA system with adaptive subchannel allocation.

Effective Porous Filler Design for Streaming Potential‐Driven Electropolymerization

open access: yesChemElectroChem, Volume 12, Issue 18, September 15, 2025.
Streaming potential‐driven bipolar electrodes can achieve the oxidative electropolymerization of aromatic monomers without the need for an electric power supply. Herein, various electrolytes and fillers are investigated to generate higher streaming potentials. As a result, the monomer scope is extended compared to that of the prototype system.

Order Effects in Second Language Learning

open access: yesLanguage Learning, Volume 75, Issue 3, Page 623-665, September 2025.
Abstract We explore how general principles of learning apply to and combine with usage‐based approaches to language learning and teaching, with a focus on the effects of order of exposure to new information in second language (L2) instruction. Although the effects of input spacing and timing on memory and learning have been previously explored (see ...
