Subcritical water hydrolysis of nylon 6 extract concentrate
The Canadian Journal of Chemical Engineering, 2017AbstractNylon 6 extract concentrate, namely, wastewater produced from industrial nylon 6 extraction unit, was hydrolyzed in subcritical water to efficiently decrease the cyclic dimer (CD) content. The CD equilibrium conversion reached a maximum when the initial water content ranged from 0.40 to 0.45 g/g; specifically, a CD conversion of 94.3 % was ...

Remediation of soil contaminated with dioxins by subcritical water extraction
Chemosphere, 2004The effectiveness of subcritical water extraction (SCWE) was examined for removing dioxins from contaminated soil. Most dioxins in the soil sample were reduced at 300 degrees C or more, but decreased dioxin concentrations were also observed at 150 degrees C.

Subcritical water extraction of trace metals from petroleum source rock
Talanta, 2010The extraction of trace metals from petroleum source rock by superheated water was investigated and the conditions for maximum yield were determined. The results showed that no significant extraction was attained at 100 degrees C but the extraction was enhanced at higher temperatures.

Extraction of Tricyclazole from Soil and Sediment with Subcritical Water
Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, 2000The use of subcritical water to extract tricyclazole from soils and sediments was examined. Extraction efficiency and kinetics were determined as a function of temperature, sample age, sample matrix, sample size, and flow rate. Extraction temperature was the most influential experimental factor affecting extraction efficiency and kinetics, with ...

Relationship analysis between flavonoids structure and subcritical water extraction (SWE)
Food Chemistry, 2014Subcritical water (about 10MPa) is an excellent solvent for extracting non-polar flavonoids by varying the temperature-dependent dielectric constant. This study determined the optimum conditions for subcritical water extraction (SWE), such as the time and temperature, for extracting flavonoids from eight plants, and their dependence on the chemical ...
