The critical pore spacing—approximately twenty times the pore radius—required to minimize electric field coupling is determined via finite element analysis. A multi‐layered Al2O3/Au/Si3N4 nanopore structure fabricated by helium ion beam lithography is proposed, enabling quantitative analysis of the target analyte while mitigating inter‐pore crosstalk ...

ABSTRACT To alleviate the impact of the instability of renewable energy power generation on the power grid, coal‐fired power plants (CFPPs) have to undertake peak shaving tasks, which puts forward high requirements for the flexibility of CFPPs. To enhance the flexibility of CFPPs to consume more renewable energy, this paper innovatively proposes a ...

ABSTRACT Greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions have emerged as one of the most critical drivers of climate change; this is primarily due to high concentrations and long atmospheric life of carbon dioxide (CO2). For a significant amount of time, various biological processes such as microalgal cultivation, cyanobacterial systems, photosynthetic microorganisms ...

Green Extraction Technique: Subcritical Water Extraction
An environmental kindly technique, subcritical water extraction (SWE) are based on using water as extraction solvent at temperatures between 100 °C and 374 °C. Increasing the temperature at moderate pressure also reduces the surface tension and viscosity of water causes the polarity of subcritical water is comparable to organic solvents. ...

Subcritical water extraction of bioactive phenolic compounds from distillery stillage
Distilleries generate huge amounts of by-products that have a negative impact on the environment, so the management of wastes generated by this sector should be improved. Because distillery by-products are a source of bioactive compounds, the recovery of these compounds not only reduces issues with environmental protection but also provides the basis ...
