Journal of Feline Medicine and Surgery Open Reports, 2019 Case summary A 1-year-old male neutered cat was presented with a right-sided swelling of the floor of the oral cavity, causing dysphagia and hypersialorrhoea for 2 months. Fine-needle aspiration of the mass and CT were suggestive of a right sublingual sialocoele with no obvious cause.

The Anatomical Record, EarlyView.Abstract Despite the distinctly different shapes of their tongues, the tongue gross anatomy of Saimaa ringed seal closely resembled that of Baltic ringed seal. There were no differences in the extrinsic and intrinsic tongue muscles or their associated vascularization and innervation between Saimaa and Baltic ringed seals.
