Substrate Integrated Waveguide Antenna Applications
The research objective of this thesis is to provide a better solution for signal interference and reduce the size of waveguide antenna. The background investigations of different waveguide fabrication technologies and switch control methods are detailed in the introductory part of this thesis. Several novel substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) antennas

We demonstrate an indirect magneto‐optical coupling mechanism that overrides the symmetry‐induced suppression of s‐polarized TMOKE. A quasi‐two‐dimensional grating coordinates orthogonal resonances to establish a near‐zero reflection background and maximal near‐field asymmetry, achieving a theoretical‐limit TMOKE of ∼2.

An ab initio electromagnetic framework links quasinormal modes to Fano resonances in extinction spectra. Analytical expressions for the Fano asymmetry and intensity parameters are derived from overlap integrals, enabling rapid spectral reconstruction and physical interpretation.

Waveguide‐Based Four‐Channel Crosstalk‐Free Metahologram Multiplexed by Diffraction Orders
A diffraction‐order‐multiplexed, four‐channel metahologram integrates a flat glass waveguide and an array of titanium dioxide nanopillars to realize crosstalk‐free holographic projection. Light undergoes total internal reflection within the waveguide and gets out‐coupled by diffraction from the nanopillar array.

This study presents a novel one‐step femtosecond laser modification technique for fabricating high‐quality periodic metasurfaces on lithium niobate thin films without surface damage and scattering centers. Under oblique incidence at 1030 nm, a 4.75‐fold enhancement in second‐harmonic generation efficiency is achieved through complementary mechanisms ...
