Monoamine Oxidase Substrates and Substrate Affinity [PDF]
The evidence that there are two forms of monoamine oxidase (MAO) enzymes is reviewed. On the basis of various substrate affinities, differential inhibition by deprenyl and clorgyline, and heat inactivation, there appear to be a type A and a type B MAO in various tissues.

CVD of solid oxides in porous substrates for ceramic membrane modification [PDF]
The deposition of yttria-doped zirconia has been experimented systematically in various types of porous ceramic substrates by a modified chemical vapor deposition (CVD) process operating in an opposing reactant geometry using water vapor and ...

BROADBAND SUBSTRATE TO SUBSTRATE INTERCONNECTION
A broadband substrate to substrate microwave circuit interconnection is proposed using bond wires and defected ground structure (DGS). The proposed square-shaped DGS etched under compensated microstrip open stubs not only expands its operating bandwidth, but also increases the characteristic impedance of microstrip line without narrowing its width ...

Investigation of interface properties of sputter deposited TiN/CrN superlattices by low-angle X-ray reflectivity [PDF]
Approximately 1.8 m thick nanolayered multilayer coatings of TiN/CrN (also known as superlattices) were deposited on silicon (100) substrates at different modulation wavelengths (4.6–12.8 nm), substrate temperatures (50-400 °C) and substrate bias ...

Energy Efficiency of the Extrusion Process and its Effect on Output of Biogas during the Fermentation of Maize and Rape Straw [PDF]
The purpose of the research is determining the influence of pre-treatment by extrusion of rape and maize straw on the output of biogas and the energy efficient mode of the extrusion process. The set goal is achieved by solving the following problems: pre-
