Bis(2-aminothiazolium) succinate succinic acid [PDF]

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section E Structure Reports Online, 2009
In the title compound, 2C(3)H(5)N(2)S(+)·C(4)H(4)O(4) (2-)·C(4)H(6)O(4), the thia-zolium ring is almost planar, with the maximum deviation from planarity being 0.0056 (8) Å for the C atom carrying the amine substituent. The N atom of the 2-amino-thia-zole mol-ecule is protonated. Both the anion and the acid lie across inversion centres.

Succinic Acid: Technology Development and Commercialization

open access: yesFermentation, 2017
Succinic acid is a precursor of many important, large-volume industrial chemicals and consumer products. It was once common knowledge that many ruminant microorganisms accumulated succinic acid under anaerobic conditions.

Bis(4-methylimidazolium) succinate succinic acid solvate [PDF]

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section E Structure Reports Online, 2009
In the title compound, 2C(4)H(7)N(2) (+)·C(4)H(4)O(4) (2-)·C(4)H(6)O(4), the asymmetric unit consists of two 4-methyl-imidazolium cations, one succinate dianion and one netrual succinic acid mol-ecule and within the latter components, the C-O, C=O and C O bonds are clearly evidenced from their relative distances.

Evaluation of organic fractions of municipal solid waste as renewable feedstock for succinic acid production

open access: yesBiotechnology for Biofuels, 2020
Background Despite its high market potential, bio-based succinic acid production experienced recently a declining trend because the initial investments did not meet the expectations for rapid market growth.

Bis(ethanolaminium) succinate–succinic acid (1/1) [PDF]

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section E Structure Reports Online, 2011
The asymmetric unit of the title compound, 2C(2)H(8)NO(+)·C(4)H(4)O(4) (2-)·C(4)H(6)O(4), consists of half a succinate anion, half a succinic acid mol-ecule and one ethano-laminium cation. The succinate anion and succinic acid mol-ecule, both of which are located on inversion centres, are linked by O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming a chain along the [2 ...

Effective production of succinic acid from coconut water (Cocos nucifera) by metabolically engineered Escherichia coli with overexpression of Bacillus subtilis pyruvate carboxylase

open access: yesBiotechnology Reports, 2019
Succinic acid is an important acid which is used in medicine and pharmaceutical companies. Metabolically engineered Escherichia coli strain was used for the effective production of succinic acid using Cocos nucifera water, which contained 5.00 ± 0.02 g/L
