N-Ethyl-N-phenyl-N′-tosylformamidine [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
The title compound, C16H18N2O2S, was obtained as an unexpected product while attempting to form carbon–nitrogen bonds by catalytic amidation. The molecule displays an E conformation about the C=N double bond. The planes of the two aromatic rings in the

Microbial Melatonin Production Improves Plant Metabolic Function in Short‐Term Climate‐Induced Stresses

open access: yesJournal of Pineal Research, Volume 77, Issue 3, April 2025.
ABSTRACT Climate change, specifically high temperatures, can reduce soil moisture and cause hypersaline conditions, which creates an unsustainable agro‐production system. Microbial symbionts associated with plants relinquish stressful conditions by producing stress‐protecting substances.

Capturing Copper Single Atom in Proton Donor Stimulated O‐End Nitrate Reduction

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 37, Issue 12, March 26, 2025.
Electrocatalytic nitrate reduction (e‐NO3RR) shows promise for NH3 synthesis but suffer from insufficient activity. One mechanism is proposed to integrate a proton donor for O‐end e‐NO3RR. Based on that, a model catalyst with Cu single atoms on La‐based nanoparticles is designed, achieving exceptional efficiency and stability.

Determination and evaluation of acidity constants of some imidazole and thiazole linked acetamide compounds [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
In this work, the effect of substituents on the acidity constants of some acetamide derivatives was investigated. The acidity constants of nine acetamide derivatives were determined at 25 °C using a UV spectrophotometric method.
