Conductive Hydrogels for Exogenous Sensing and Cell Fate Control

We engineer electrically conductive hydrogels by combining sulfated glycosaminoglycans with semiconducting polymers. These hydrogels bind bioactive proteins, including growth factors, whose release or retention can be modulated by low‐voltage stimulation. Pulsed Electrolysis Prevents Sulfur Poisoning for Sustained Sulfide Valorization

Advanced Materials, EarlyView.
Integrating pulsed electrolysis with Sc‐doped NiFe‐LDH enables sustainable sulfide valorization, achieving >500 h stability, 99.8% efficiency. Moreover, this technology produces high‐purity sulfur and sodium formate, boosting profit by 121% to $1,294.7 per tonne of hydrogen.

Inert Catalytic Sites Unlocked by Micropollutants for Rapid Water Decontamination with Near‐Complete Chemical Utilization

Micropollutants can act as molecular triggers that activate a newly designed and chemically inert Fenton‐like PKU‐24 catalyst for on‐demand singlet oxygen generation from peroxymonosulfate (PMS), enabling nearly complete peroxide utilization and selective micropollutant removal from complex real‐world wastewater.

Integrating ZnO/Ag2O@g‐C3N4‐Based Nanocomposites Into a Carrageenan Matrix to Efficiently Remove Heavy Metals From Water

ABSTRACT This research focused on characterizing graphitic carbon nitride (g‐C3N4) nanocomposites incorporated with ZnO and Ag2O nanoparticles, and carrageenan to remove heavy metals. The ZnO/Ag2O@ g‐C3N4 and ZnO/Ag2O/g‐C3N4@Carr nanocomposites demonstrated thermal stability of 97.40% (108.81°C) and 82.80% (188.99°C) for TGA.
