SUNSPOTS AND CREDIT FRICTIONS [PDF]
We examine a general equilibrium model with collateral constraints and increasing returns to scale in production. The utility function is nonseparable, with no income effect on the consumer's choice of leisure. Unlike this model without a collateral constraint, we find that indeterminacy of equilibria is possible.

Multiple-scale Temporal Variability of Climatic Time Series in the Western Region of Iran [PDF]
The current research aims to carry out a multi-timescale variability analysis for the time series of sunspots (SN), precipitation (Pr), and maximum temperature (Tmax) in four main stations in the western area of Iran.

The transition region above sunspots
Over decades, sunspots and their fine structures have been studied in detail at the photospheric level with different ground-based telescopes, as the surface of the Sun primarily emits light in the visible wavelengths.

Temporal variations of different solar activity indices through the solar cycles 21-23 [PDF]
Here, we compare the sunspot counts and the number of sunspot groups (SGs) with variations of total solar irradiance (TSI), magnetic activity, Ca II K-flux, faculae and plage areas.

Detecting the Sun’s active region using image processing techniques
The term ‘space weather’ refers to adverse conditions on the Sun that could affect the structures of space or terrestrial technology and risk human health or life. Flares produce effects that span the electromagnetic spectrum.

Whether there is a correlation between sunspots and an impact on insects has long been a subject of debate. As a worldwide pest, the cotton bollworm can feed on a variety of plants and cause great harm to agriculture.
