Summary Background and Objectives: Diagnosing cicatricial alopecia is challenging. Even with histology, a definitive diagnosis cannot always be made. Line‐field confocal optical coherence tomography (LC‐OCT), a non‐invasive imaging method with high resolution used in vivo, has proven helpful in diagnosing scarring alopecia.

Supercontinuum generation in quasi-phasematched waveguides
We numerically investigate supercontinuum generation in quasi-phase-matched waveguides using a single-envelope approach to capture second and third order nonlinear processes involved in the generation of octave-spanning spectra. Simulations are shown to agree with experimental results in reverse-proton-exchanged lithium-niobate waveguides.

Supercontinuum generation with a chirped-pulse oscillator
We demonstrate the generation of a high power ultrabroadband supercontinuum by coupling the uncompressed pulses from a Ti:Sapphire Chirped-pulse oscillator into a photonic crystal fibre that exhibits a highly anomalous dispersion at the centre wavelength of the laser.
