Abstract BACKGROUND This study aimed to create a cryogel with water‐absorbing and antioxidant properties. Wheat starch (10%, w/v) was used to produce cryogels, which were then incorporated with turmeric essential oil (TEO) at two concentrations: 20% and 30% (w/w of starch).

Obesity and hypertension co‐exist and share molecular mechanisms in terms of dietary therapy, modulated by food bioactive constituents. ABSTRACT Obesity and hypertension are among the most pressing global public health challenges. They frequently co‐exist, with obesity‐related hypertension accounting for an estimated 75% of the hypertension burden ...

ABSTRACT Tea polyphenols (TPs) are natural bioactive compounds extensively used in aquaculture diets as a functional supplement because of their antioxidant, antimicrobial and immunomodulatory potential. Four isonitrogenous diets (crude protein: 30%) were designed with incorporating TPs at levels of 0% (control, TPs‐0), 0.025% (TPs‐1), 0.05% (TPs‐2 ...

Hydrogenation of CO2 to Alcohols Over Metal–Organic Frameworks‐Based Catalysts
CO2 hydrogenation with green H2 to alcohols mitigates greenhouse gas emissions and enables sustainable production. This review highlights MOF‐based catalysts for selective CO2 hydrogenation to alcohols. Modifications to MOF‐based catalysts boost performance by stabilizing intermediates and lowering barriers for alcohol synthesis.

This study aims to introduce a novel‐designed structure of the colloidal aphron microbubbles reinforced by incorporating hydrophobic aerographene microparticles onto the hydrophobic outer shell. This results in the formation of a robust composite film and armored microbubble that offers exceptional ultrastability under elevated pressures of up to 400 ...

Thermo-fluid-solid Coupling Model and Numerical Simulation of Supercritical CO2 Antireflection Coal
In view of the situation that the permeability of the most high gas coal seam is poor and the effect of coalbed methane extraction is not ideal by strengthening extraction in low permeability coal seam, which combines the strong diffusion, dissolution ...

Chain extender concentration strongly influence the batch foaming behavior of PA 12 under supercritical CO2. Increasing CE content improves melt stability, raises viscosity and broadens the foaming window, enabling fine, uniform cellular structures. The optimal 0.5 wt.% CE yields the highest nucleation density and lowest foam density, about 0.06–0.09 g/
