Rapid and high exhausted coloration technology: Dyeing of bovine hides under vacuum

open access: yesColoration Technology, EarlyView.
Abstract In the current study, the aim was to improve the dyeing properties of wet‐blue and crust leathers under vacuum conditions, increasing the dyestuff exhaustion, and thus obtaining environmental and economic gains. In this context, dyeing was performed using conventional dyestuff and water ratios in a vacuum environment with 20 kPa pressure, and ...

Temperatures of secondary relaxation transitions of binary polymer blends processed by supercritical carbon dioxide

open access: yesУчёные записки Казанского университета: Серия Физико-математические науки, 2018
We have used FTIR spectroscopy of conformationally inhomogeneous probes to study the influence of supercritical carbon dioxide on the local molecular dynamics in the blends of polyvinyl butyral and polyethylene glycol with the following compositions: 80 ...

A Call to Industry: Unearthing Synergies in Subsurface Storage Technologies

open access: yesGreenhouse Gases: Science and Technology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Subsurface storage technologies (SSTs), including geological CO2 sequestration, underground hydrogen storage, compressed‑air energy storage and thermal energy storage, are emerging as a scalable route for industry to achieve the terawatt‑hour storage flexibility and permanent carbon removal that evolving energy systems demand.

Natural‐based antioxidants in cosmeceuticals: Extraction, bioavailability and skin ageing applications

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cosmetic Science, EarlyView.
Natural antioxidants from plants, fruits, seeds and fungi combat ageing by neutralizing free radicals, boosting collagen and protecting against UV damage. Enhanced by green extraction and smart delivery systems, they offer powerful anti‐inflammatory and antimicrobial benefits.

Decoding Metamorphic Nanodiamonds Formation Through Their Internal Structures

open access: yesJournal of Metamorphic Geology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Metamorphic diamonds offer insights into Earth's evolution, modulating the global carbon cycle through subduction into the mantle and exhumation. However, the formation and internal structure of minute diamonds remain poorly understood. Here, we study the internal structures of diamond‐bearing inclusions from the Eastern Alps using state‐of ...

Transitioning of the Chemical Industry Toward a Net‐Zero Carbon Dioxide Emission Path

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 138, Issue 4, 22 January 2026.
One way to reduce the greenhouse gas footprint of the chemical industry to almost zero would be the production of the platform molecules C1‐compounds, olefins, aromatics, and ammonia by non‐fossil pathways. The rest of the chemical production chains could be essentially left unchanged, provided the process energy input is renewable.
