Synthesis of polyimides in supercritical carbon dioxide
The Journal of Supercritical Fluids, 2003Abstract One-step polycyclization reaction in supercritical carbon dioxide has been carried out for the first time and a thereby set of polyimides has been synthesized. Diphenyl-2,2-hexafluoropropane-3,3′,4,4′-tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride (dianhydride 6F), 4,4′-diaminodiphenyl-2,2-hexafluoropropane (diamine 6F) and 9,9-bis(4-aminophenyl)fluorene ...

Foaming of polypropylene with supercritical carbon dioxide
The Journal of Supercritical Fluids, 2007This work is aimed at studying the foaming behavior of polypropylene (PP) with supercritical carbon dioxide (scCO2). The effects of saturation time, foaming temperature, saturation pressure and depressurization rate on the foam structure and volume expansion ratio were investigated.

Measurement and Correlation of Curcumin Solubility in Supercritical Carbon Dioxide
, 2017Curcumin is a natural phenolic pigment extracted from turmeric and has a good pharmacological activity in anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, hypolipidemic, and antitumor. It has been frequently used in drug-loaded microspheres recently. However, the reports

Dissolution of uranium dioxide in supercritical fluid carbon dioxide
Chemical Communications, 2001Uranium dioxide can be dissolved in supercritical CO2 with a CO2-philic TBP-HNO3 complexant to form a highly soluble UO2(NO3)(2).2TBP complex; this new method of dissolving UO2 that requires no water or organic solvent may have important applications for reprocessing of spent nuclear fuels and for treatment of nuclear wastes.
