Supersymmetric RG flows and Janus from type II orbifold compactification
We study holographic RG flow solutions within four-dimensional $$N=4$$ N = 4 gauged supergravity obtained from type IIA and IIB string theories compactified on $$T^6/\mathbb {Z}_2\times \mathbb {Z}_2$$ T 6 / Z 2 × Z 2 orbifold with gauge, geometric and ...

Generalised U-dual solutions via ISO(7) gauged supergravity [PDF]
We study a solution generating technique in supergravity which can be viewed as a generalised version of U-duality, taking solutions of type IIA supergravity on a 6-sphere with RR flux to new solutions of 11-dimensional supergravity. The new solutions are characterised by an underlying 6-algebra structure.

Generalized BF Theory in Superspace as Underlying Theory of 11D Supergravity [PDF]
We construct a generalized BF theory in superspace that can embed eleven-dimensional supergravity theory. Our topological BF theory can accommodate all the necessary Bianchi identities for teleparallel superspace supergravity in eleven-dimensions, as the

Warped AdS6 × S2 in Type IIB supergravity II: global solutions and five-brane webs [PDF]
A bstractMotivated by the construction of holographic duals to five-dimensional superconformal quantum field theories, we obtain global solutions to Type IIB supergravity invariant under the superalgebra F (4) on a space-time of the form AdS6 × S2 warped

Classical Yang-Baxter equation from β-supergravity [PDF]
A bstractYang-Baxter deformations of superstring σ-models have recently inspired a supergravity solution generating technique. Using the open/closed string map and a Killing bi-vector as a deformation parameter, new solutions can be built, such that the (

Gauged/Massive Supergravities in Diverse Dimensions [PDF]
We show how massive/gauged maximal supergravities in 11-n dimensions with SO(n-l,l) gauge groups (and other non-semisimple subgroups of Sl(n,R)) can be systematically obtained by dimensional reduction of ``massive 11-dimensional supergravity''. This series of massive/gauged supergravities includes, for instance, Romans' massive N=2A,d=10 supergravity ...

On QCD_2 from supergravity and mass gaps in QCD [PDF]
As a test of the conjectured QCD/supergravity duality, we consider mass gaps in the supergravity construction of QCD_2. We find a mass gap in the dual field theory both when using non-rotating and rotating black D2-branes as backgrounds in the ...

Kappa-symmetry of superstring sigma model and generalized 10d supergravity equations [PDF]
A bstractWe determine the constraints imposed on the 10d target superspace geometry by the requirement of classical kappa-symmetry of the Green-Schwarz superstring.

Supersymmetric AdS$$_2\times \Sigma _2$$ 2×Σ2 solutions from tri-sasakian truncation
A class of $$\mathrm{AdS}_2\times \Sigma _2$$ AdS2×Σ2 , with $$\Sigma _2$$ Σ2 being a two-sphere or a hyperbolic space, solutions within four-dimensional $$N=4$$ N=4 gauged supergravity coupled to three-vector multiplets with dyonic gauging is identified.

We study the linearized approximation of N=1 topologically massive supergravity around AdS3. Linearized gravitino fields are explicitly constructed. For appropriate boundary conditions, the conserved charges demonstrate chiral behavior, so that chiral gravity can be consistently extended to chiral supergravity.
