Recent advances in the superovulation in cattle [PDF]
The variability in the superovulatory response continues to be one of the most frustrating problems with embryo transfer in cattle. The removal of LH from pituitary extracts has tended to reduce the variability in response, and several studies involving the use of the purified porcine pituitary extract. Folltropin-V are reviewed.

ABSTRACT Recombinant gonadotropins, particularly recombinant follicle‐stimulating hormone (rFSH) and recombinant equine chorionic gonadotropin (reCG), have emerged as viable alternatives to traditional animal‐derived hormones in reproductive biotechnologies. This review aims to provide an updated and comprehensive overview of recombinant gonadotropins,

Hepatic lipase gene expression is transiently induced by gonadotropic hormones in rat ovaries [PDF]
Hepatic lipase (HL) gene expression was studied in rat ovaries. A transcript lacking exons 1 and 2 could be detected by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) in the ovaries of mature cyclic females and of immature rats treated with ...

TMC4 localizes to multiple taste cell types in the mouse taste papillae
Transmembrane channel‐like 4 (TMC4), a voltage‐dependent chloride channel, plays a critical role in amiloride‐insensitive salty taste transduction. TMC4 is broadly expressed in all mature taste cell types, suggesting a possible involvement of multiple cell types in this pathway.

The Effect of Glyphosate on Ovarian Tissue and in Vitro Maturation in Superovulated Mice [PDF]
Introduction: Glyphosate is the most popular broad-spectrum herbicide globally due to the growing demand for glyphosate-resistant crops. Glyphosate exhibits harmful properties, including cytotoxicity, neurotoxicity, and reproductive toxicity.

COITAL BLOCK TO SUPEROVULATION IN THE HAMSTER [PDF]
Summary. Hamsters injected with 60 i.u. pregnant mares' serum (pms) on the morning of metoestrus (Day 1 of oestrous cycle) will ovulate sixty to seventy ova if they are isolated from males. However, if similarly treated females are caged with males on Day 2 or 3, coitus takes place and the inactive corpora lutea of the oestrous cycle ...

Genomic Variants Associated With Oocyte and Embryo Production in Dairy Gir Cattle
ABSTRACT The use of in vitro fertilization protocols associated with genomic selection increases genetic gain in dairy cattle. The aims of this study were to uncover genetic variants in a specific interval on BTA7 and to investigate their effects on the number of oocytes and embryos in dairy Gir.

Reproductive parameters and the use of MOET in transgenic founder goat carrying the human granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (hG-CSF) gene. [PDF]
: This study aimed to monitor estrous cycle parameters of a human granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (hG-CSF)-transgenic founder female goat and to perform superovulation and embryo recovery (surgical or transcervical method) for further transfer to ...
