JT gravity from non-Abelian T-duality
We study the geometries obtained by performing super non-Abelian T-duality of the Principal Chiral Model on OSp(1|2). While the initial model represents an appropriate 3D supergravity background, interpretable as the superspace version of AdS3, the T ...

Axion Black Hole Solution in Non‐Metricity Gravity
Abstract A static, spherically symmetric black hole solution in symmetric teleparallel (non‐metricity) gravity sourced by an axion field is constructed. Starting from the modified field equations, exact configurations are obtained characterized by the mass M$M$ and an axion–geometry coupling β$\beta$, with temporal metric function A(r)=1−2Mr+βr$A(r)=1-\

N=2 Supersymmetry and U(1)-Duality
Understanding the consequences of the E_{7(7)} duality on the UV properties of N=8 supergravity requires unravelling when and how duality-covariant actions can be constructed so as to accommodate duality-invariant counter-terms. For non-supersymmetric abelian gauge theories exhibiting U(1)-duality, with and without derivative couplings, it was shown ...

FTheoryTools: Advancing Computational Capabilities for F‐Theory Research
Abstract A primary goal of string phenomenology is to identify realistic four‐dimensional physics within the landscape of string theory solutions. In F‐theory, such solutions are encoded in the geometry of singular elliptic fibrations, whose study often requires particularly challenging and cumbersome computations.

The tensor Goldstone multiplet for partially broken supersymmetry [PDF]
We show that the tensor gauge multiplet of N=1 supersymmetry can serve as the Goldstone multiplet for partially broken rigid N=2 supersymmetry. We exploit a remarkable analogy with the Goldstone-Maxwell multiplet of hep-th/9608177 to find its nonlinear ...

Abstract We consider a planar Coulomb gas ensemble of size N$N$ with the inverse temperature β=2$\beta =2$ and external potential Q(z)=|z|2−2clog|z−a|$Q(z)=|z|^2-2c \log |z-a|$, where c>0$c>0$ and a∈C$a \in \mathbb {C}$. Equivalently, this model can be realised as N$N$ eigenvalues of the complex Ginibre matrix of size (c+1)N×(c+1)N$(c+1) N \times (c+1)

Metastable supersymmetry breaking and gauge/gravity duality
AbstractWe discuss metastable supersymmetry breaking states in gauge theories and in their gravity duals. We then engineer a quiver gauge theory with several interesting features by studying D‐branes at a simple Calabi‐Yau singularity. At weak 't Hooft coupling we argue using field theory techniques that it admits, besides the supersymmetric vacua ...

de Sitter Excited State in Heterotic E8×E8${\rm E}_8 \times {\rm E}_8$ Theory
Abstract A novel duality sequence is devised to study late‐time cosmology in the heterotic E8×E8${\rm E}_8 \times {\rm E}_8$ setup of Horava and Witten with dynamical walls that are moving towards each other. Remarkably, the dimensionally reduced 4‐dimensional theory does not violate NEC and no bouncing or ekpyrotic phase is observed.
