Multi-centered N = 2 $$ \mathcal{N}=2 $$ BPS black holes: a double copy description
We present the on-shell double copy dictionary for linearised N = 2 $$ \mathcal{N}=2 $$ supergravity coupled to an arbitrary number of vector multiplets in four dimensions.

Intersecting surface defects and 3d superconformal indices
We compute the 3d N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 2 superconformal indices for 3d/1d coupled systems, which arise as the worldvolume theories of intersecting surface defects engineered by Higgsing 5d N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 1 gauge theories. We generalize some known

Holomorphic field theories and higher algebra
Abstract Aimed at complex geometers and representation theorists, this survey explores higher dimensional analogs of the rich interplay between Riemann surfaces, Virasoro and Kac‐Moody Lie algebras, and conformal blocks. We introduce a panoply of examples from physics — field theories that are holomorphic in nature, such as holomorphic Chern‐Simons ...

Modular forms and SL(2, ℤ)-covariance of type IIB superstring theory
The local higher-derivative interactions that enter into the low-energy expansion of the effective action of type IIB superstring theory with constant complex modulus generally violate the U(1) R-symmetry of IIB supergravity by q U units.

Revisiting the multi-monopole point of SU(N) N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 2 gauge theory in four dimensions
Motivated by applications to soft supersymmetry breaking, we revisit the expansion of the Seiberg-Witten solution around the multi-monopole point on the Coulomb branch of pure SU(N) N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 2 gauge theory in four dimensions. At this point N

Higher derivative terms and their influence on N=2 supersymmetric systems [PDF]
This thesis is concerned with so-called higher derivative terms which arise in low energy approximations to certain physical models. In particular, the aim is to investigate the role that such terms play in low energy N=2 supersymmetric gauge theories in

Dark Dimension With (Little) Strings Attached
Abstract A relation between dark energy and the scale of new physics in weakly coupled string theory is motivated. This mixing between infrared and ultraviolet physics leads to a unique corner for real‐world phenomenology: barring fine‐tunings, the authors are naturally led to the “dark dimension” scenario, a single mesoscopic extra dimension of micron

Conformal manifolds and 3d mirrors of (D n , D m ) theories
The Argyres-Douglas (AD) theories of type (D n , D m ), realized by type IIB geometrical engineering on a single hypersurface singularity, are studied. We analyze their conformal manifolds and propose the 3d mirror theories of all theories in this class ...

Foundations of Ghost Stability
Abstract The authors present a new method to analytically prove global stability in ghost‐ridden dynamical systems. The proposal encompasses all prior results and consequentially extends them. In particular, it is shown that stability can follow from a conserved quantity that is unbounded from below, contrary to expectation.

Hyperelliptic families and 4d N = 2 $$ \mathcal{N}=2 $$ SCFT
We classify four dimensional N = 2 $$ \mathcal{N}=2 $$ SCFTs whose Seiberg-Witten (SW) geometries can be written as hyperelliptic families. By using special Kähler condition of SW geometry, we reduce the problem to one parameter quasi-homogeneous ...
