Linking neurogenesis, oligodendrogenesis, and myelination defects to neurodevelopmental disruption in primary mitochondrial disorders

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Mitochondrial remodeling shapes neural and glial lineage progression by matching metabolic supply with demand. Elevated OXPHOS supports differentiation and myelin formation, while myelin compaction lowers mitochondrial dependence, revealing mitochondria as key drivers of developmental energy adaptation.

Study on the Multi-Equipment Integrated Scheduling Problem of a U-Shaped Automated Container Terminal Based on Graph Neural Network and Deep Reinforcement Learning

open access: yesJournal of Marine Science and Engineering
Intelligent Guided Vehicles (IGVs) in U-shaped automated container terminals (ACTs) have longer travel paths than those in conventional vertical layout ACTs, and their interactions with double trolley quay cranes (DTQCs) and double cantilever rail cranes

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

Perspectives on information and supply chains within investment banking [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
Supply chain concepts are usually confined to industries where there are core sourcing, manufacture and delivery processes. These industries are usually to be found within the industrial products, aerospace, automotive, chemical and pharmaceutical ...

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

Taxonomy of digital signage message execution and media placement considerations [PDF]

open access: yesThe Retail and Marketing Review, 2020
Digital signage is a commercial promising field in marketing. Yet, it is a little researched topic, with an incomplete understanding of the factors to consider when planning digital signage message executions or media placements.

Organizing the interface—Plasma membrane architecture and receptor dynamics in virus‐cell interactions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Plasma membranes contain dynamic nanoscale domains that organize lipids and receptors. Because viruses operate at similar scales, this architecture shapes early infection steps, including attachment, receptor engagement, and entry. Using influenza A virus and HIV‐1 as examples, we highlight how receptor nanoclusters, multivalent glycan interactions ...

In vitro models of cancer‐associated fibroblast heterogeneity uncover subtype‐specific effects of CRISPR perturbations

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Development of therapies targeting cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) necessitates preclinical model systems that faithfully represent CAF–tumor biology. We established an in vitro coculture system of patient‐derived pancreatic CAFs and tumor cell lines and demonstrated its recapitulation of primary CAF–tumor biology with single‐cell transcriptomics ...

Enhancing Supply Chain Resilience Through Supply Chain Finance: Moderating Role of Supply Chain Disruption

open access: yesPakistan Journal of Commerce and Social Sciences
Developing countries face economic disruptions due to financing limitations generated by traditional financing practices. Although supply chain finance (SCF) is recognized as a significant financing strategy in academic literature, it is still overlooked as a proactive financial strategy to mitigate disruptions.
