Strength through diversity: how cancers thrive when clones cooperate
Intratumor heterogeneity can offer direct benefits to the tumor through cooperation between different clones. In this review, Kuiken et al. discuss existing evidence for clonal cooperativity to identify overarching principles, and highlight how novel technological developments could address remaining open questions.

Exploiting metabolic adaptations to overcome dabrafenib treatment resistance in melanoma cells
We show that dabrafenib‐resistant melanoma cells undergo mitochondrial remodeling, leading to elevated respiration and ROS production balanced by stronger antioxidant defenses. This altered redox state promotes survival despite mitochondrial damage but renders resistant cells highly vulnerable to ROS‐inducing compounds such as PEITC, highlighting redox

Spontaneous graphitization of ultrathin cubic structures: A computational study
Results based on {\em ab initio} density functional calculations indicate a general graphitization tendency in ultrathin slabs of cubic diamond, boron nitride, and many other cubic structures including rocksalt.

Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.

Thermal desorption of ammonia from crystalline forsterite surfaces
The thermal desorption of ammonia (NH$_3$) from single crystal forsterite (010) has been investigated using temperature-programmed desorption. The effect of defects on the desorption process has been probed by the use of a rough cut forsterite surface ...
