Photo‐rewritable ambipolar organic synapses operating in aqueous environments at low voltage (≤0.4 V) demonstrate bidirectional optical plasticity through photon‐modulated electrochemical doping. The bulk heterojunction device enables both excitatory and inhibitory responses with extended retention time (>130 min).

Single‐Atom Photocatalyst as Floatable Artificial Leaf for Upcycling Oceanic Plastic Waste
To resolve the catastrophic disaster of oceanic plastic pollution, the novel Ru single atom loaded ZnIn2S4 photocatalysts, in the forms of powder or floatable artificial leaf, were prepared for direct conversion of raw polypropylene plastic into valuable chemicals. The optimized catalyst exhibits exceptional performance, with a total formic/acetic acid

Trap-state suppression and improved charge transport in PbS quantum dot solar cells with synergistic mixed ligand treatments [PDF]
The power conversion efficiency of colloidal PbS‐quantum‐dot (QD)‐based solar cells is significantly hampered by lower‐than‐expected open circuit voltage (VOC).

Beyond Earth: Resilience of Quasi‐2D Perovskite Solar Cells in Space
In the article (DOI: 10.1002/adma.202520433), Christoph Putz and co‐workers demonstrate rigid quasi‐2D perovskite solar cells operating in low Earth orbit, delivering stable power for more than 100 days under real‐space conditions. In‐orbit performance is correlated with extensive ground‐based thermal and proton‐irradiation studies on rigid and ...

pH-Independent, 520 mV Open-Circuit Voltages of Si/Methyl Viologen^(2+/+) Contacts Through Use of Radial n^+p-Si Junction Microwire Array Photoelectrodes [PDF]
The effects of introducing an n^+-doped emitter layer have been evaluated for both planar Si photoelectrodes and for radial junction Si microwire-array photoelectrodes. In contact with the pH-independent, one-electron, outer-sphere, methyl viologen redox

Optical Manipulation of Multiferroic Phases in BiFeO3 Thin Films
At the strain‐driven morphotropic phase boundary, optical control over the multiferroic rhombohedral and tetragonal phase mixture is demonstrated using above‐bandgap light illumination. The photoinduced charge carriers modify the electrostatic environment and induce the conversion into a single tetragonal phase.

Selfconsistent Model of Photoconversion Efficiency for Multijunction Solar Cells
To accurately calculate efficiencies $\eta$ of experimentally produced multijunction solar cells (MJSCs) and optimize their parameters, we offer semi-analytical photoconversion formalism that incorporates radiative recombination, Shockley-Read-Hall (SRH)

Two isomeric nonfullerene acceptors, BTP‐γ‐Br and BTP‐δ‐Br, were designed to investigate their effects on the optoelectronic properties and photovoltaic performance of ternary blends. Incorporating BTP‐γ‐Br into the D18:N3 binary system can enhance film crystallinity and suppress charge recombination, achieving a high PCE of 19.2% and a certified JSC ...
