Optimum Profile of Chisel Front Surface
Cultivators for fallow and intertilled crops cultivation have several tipes of chisel. The key design data of a chisel are a tip overhang, radius of curvature of the front surface, an angle between a tangent to the tip and the furrow bottom.

Critical adsorption on non-spherical colloidal particles
We consider a non-spherical colloidal particle immersed in a fluid close to its critical point. The temperature dependence of the corresponding order parameter profile is calculated explicitly.

Theory of optimum shapes in free-surface flows. Part 1. Optimum profile of sprayless planing surface [PDF]
This paper attempts to determine the optimum profile of a two-dimensional plate that produces the maximum hydrodynamic lift while planing on a water surface, under the condition of no spray formation and no gravitational effect, the latter assumption ...

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

A Time-Delay Calibration Method for Profile Estimation of Two-Layered Rough Surfaces
For detection of a two-layered rough surface structure through ground-penetrating radar, the estimation of the profile of each layered rough surface is an important problem to be solved.

Plasma membranes contain dynamic nanoscale domains that organize lipids and receptors. Because viruses operate at similar scales, this architecture shapes early infection steps, including attachment, receptor engagement, and entry. Using influenza A virus and HIV‐1 as examples, we highlight how receptor nanoclusters, multivalent glycan interactions ...

INCREASING STAMPING FORMABILITY OF LOW-CARBON COLD ROLLED THIN STEEL SHEETS [PDF]
The use of surfactant (épila) was studied as a method for improving the cold-formability of steel sheets. The factors of the resulting effect were analyzed.

Measurement of contact potential difference and material distribution by using an SEFM
This paper presents a method for the measurement of the contact potential difference (CPD) and material distribution on the sample surface by using a scanning electrostatic force microscope (SEFM). In SEFM, the surface profile is evaluated by applying an

Approximate Stokes Drift Profiles in Deep Water
A deep-water approximation to the Stokes drift velocity profile is explored as an alternative to the monochromatic profile. The alternative profile investigated relies on the same two quantities required for the monochromatic profile, viz the Stokes ...
