Load sediments quantification in Algerian North-West basins by ANN (Artificial Neurons Network) method [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Due to the complexity of basins morphometric parameters and the hydroclimatic irregularity of the semi-arid regions of North Africa, solid transport has been still far from being clearly assessed.

Dynamic Characteristics of Suspended Load and Bed Load Transport in Meltwater Runoff of Qiyi Glacier

open access: yesShuitu Baochi Xuebao
[Objective] The transportation of sediment via glacial meltwater can not only reflect the glacial erosion and landform evolution, but also is one of the important sediment sources for the downstream river.

Identification of the suspended on the rope load physical model [PDF]

open access: yesTransport Problems, 2010
The problems connected with the modelling of the suspended on the ropes load are presented in the paper. The possible simple model of the flexible suspended load should be used for automatic control with using of state observer.

STUDI MUATAN SUSPENDED LOAD DAN BED LOAD PADA UPSTREAM BENDUNG DI HULU SUNGAI-SUNGAI BESAR KABUPATEN BANYUWANGI

open access: yesLogic, 2018
Analisis muatan ...

Assessing soft calculation methods in river suspended sediment estimation (Hassan Abad station of Tirah river) [PDF]

open access: yesمدل‌سازی و مدیریت آب و خاک
Introduction Rivers are always faced with erosion and sediment transport. Sediment transport in rivers is one of the most complex topics in river engineering and is always the focus of experts and water engineers. This phenomenon is one of the important

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).

Vibration control of a large slewing crane by combining a plant model considering boom deflection with an inverse dynamics based on a rigid boom model

open access: yesROBOMECH Journal
Slewing cranes are useful for the handling work of heavy objects, such as in construction works. However, the load sway of the crane is a major problem, because it reduces safety and workability.
