Advances and Prospects in Fault Diagnosis of Aircraft Hydraulic Piston Pumps
The hydraulic system is a crucial system for aircraft. As the core power component of the hydraulic system, the hydraulic pump has a complex structure and operates in a harsh environment. Therefore, fault diagnosis of the hydraulic pump is of great significance and highly challenging.

Vibration and Performance Analyses Using Individual Blade Pitch Controls for Lift‐Offset Rotors
This work attempts to reduce the hub vibratory loads of a lift‐offset rotor using IBC (individual blade pitch control) in high‐speed forward flight. As a lift‐offset rotor for the present study, the rigid coaxial rotor of a XH‐59A compound helicopter is considered and CAMRAD II is used to predict the hub vibration and rotor performance.

Active noise control by means of high frequency injection in electric motors
Aiming to improve the acoustics surrounding motor drives, this paper proposes the application of High Frequency Injection (HFI), with the aim of creating acoustic noise that is in anti‐phase relation to an unwanted noise. The injected High Frequency (HF) voltage produces torque pulsations and vibrations within the motor. This vibratory energy initiates

Measurement of Slipper Behavior in Swashplate-Type Axial Piston Pumps
In swash plate type axial piston pumps, slipper/swash plate sliding surfaces is subject to high fluctuating load. Therefore, the slippers are required to provide stable operation and reduce losses due to sliding. The behavior of the slipper fluctuates in

Abstract Wind farm control can play a key role in reducing the negative impact of wakes on wind turbine power production. The helix approach is a recent innovation in the field of wind farm control, which employs individual blade pitch control to induce a helical velocity profile in a wind turbine wake. This forced meandering of the wake has turned out

Performance and Vibration Analyses of Lift‐Offset Helicopters
A validation study on the performance and vibration analyses of the XH‐59A compound helicopter is conducted to establish techniques for the comprehensive analysis of lift‐offset compound helicopters. This study considers the XH‐59A lift‐offset compound helicopter using a rigid coaxial rotor system as a verification model.

Electric machine sizing consideration for ePumps in mobile hydraulics
This research examines the energy efficiency and design of various ePump architectures for off‐road vehicles, with a special focus on those integrating permanent magnet synchronous machines and axial piston machines. The study reveals that variable displacement ePumps can cut electrical machine size by up to 40% under certain conditions, while the ...
