Electrochemiluminescence of Heteroleptic Iridium(III) Complexes Featuring Substituted 2,4‐diphenylpyridinato Ligands

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
Five heteroleptic iridium(III) complexes bearing cyclometalated 2,4‐diphenylpyridinato ligands were synthesized and their electrochemiluminescence (ECL) investigated. Two different coreactants were evaluated: tri‐n‐propylamine and benzoyl peroxide under anodic and cathodic potentials, respectively.

Preharvest chlorogenic acid treatments enhance fruit quality and affect the phenolic composition of ‘Navel’ oranges during cold storage

open access: yesApplied Food Research
The storability of sweet oranges is determined by its quality at harvest. Therefore, this study explores the effect of preharvest treatments with chlorogenic acid (CGA) at 5 and 50 mg l-1 on quality traits and phenolics of ‘Navel’ oranges at harvest and ...

Charting Water‐in‐Natural‐Salt (WiNS) Electrolytes. Part I: Effect of Anion's Alkyl Tail Length

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
At 20 m, potassium carboxylates from formate to butyrate reveal anion tail‐controlled nanostructure. SAXS shows a pre‐peak shifting to lower q with chain length. Molecular dynamics reproduces S(q) and attributes it to concentration fluctuations forming bicontinuous segregation.

“Effects of High‐Intensity Ultrasound on the Structural, Technofunctional, and Allergenic Properties of Groundnut (Arachis hypogaea L.) Protein Isolates: A Review”

open access: yesFood Chemistry International, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The growing global demand for sustainable, nutritionally balanced protein sources has intensified interest in plant‐derived proteins, particularly those derived from oilseeds such as groundnut (Arachis hypogaea L.). However, although groundnut protein isolates (GPIs) have high nutritional quality, they exhibit limitations in technofunctional ...
