Analysis on switching mechanism of graphene oxide resistive memory device [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Recently, a flexible resistive switching memory device using graphene oxide was successfully demonstrated. In this work, the new findings on the switching mechanism of the graphene oxide memory are presented through a comprehensive study on the switching

Switching Mechanism and the Scalability of Vertical-TFETs [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Electron Devices, 2018
In this work, vertical tunnel field-effect transistors (v-TFETs) based on vertically stacked heretojunctions from 2D transition metal dichalcogenide (TMD) materials are studied by atomistic quantum transport simulations. The switching mechanism of v-TFET is found to be different from previous predictions.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

pH‐mediated activation of the lysosomal arginine sensor SLC38A9

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Cells monitor nutrient levels via the lysosomal transporter SLC38A9 to activate the mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1). This study reveals that SLC38A9 function is regulated by pH. We identified histidine 544 as a critical pH sensor that undergoes conformational changes to control amino acid efflux from lysosomes; therefore, it ...

Biophysical approaches for studying viral entry

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Viruses infect all living organisms and have been responsible for major epidemics and pandemics. Their ongoing evolutionary battle with host defenses creates a constant need for improved tools to study viral behavior. Advancing methods to probe viral attachment, fusion, and genome release deepen our understanding of how infections begin and support the

Development of a New Type of Formation Isolation Valve

open access: yesShiyou jixie, 2019
The ball-actuated isolation valve has a small inner diameter, whose switch mechanism could be easily opened by mistake operation, and it needs additional tripping in, therefore it could only be used in limited sand control wells.

The human gut microbiome across the life course

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Despite significant individual variation and continuous change throughout life, the human gut microbiome follows some life stage‐specific trends. This article provides a brief overview of how gut microbiome composition shifts across different phases of life. Created in BioRender. Özkurt, E. (2026) https://BioRender.com/8q4nrnc.

Regime Switching Mechanism during Energy Futures’ Price Bubbles

open access: yes, 2022
In the last 20 years, many huge ups and downs have been seen in not only oil prices but also in other spot and derivative’ energy prices too. This study has two main purposes.
