Meniscus Pixel Printing for Contact‐Lens Vision Sensing and Robotic Control

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A visual‐sensing contact lens is enabled by meniscus pixel printing (MPP), which rapidly patterns a 200 µm perovskite photodetector pixel in 1 s without masks, vacuum processing, or bulky equipment. A deep‐learning‐based super‐resolution reconstructs sparse on‐lens signals into 80 × 80 high‐resolution visual information, while AI‐driven eye‐tracking ...

Atomic Layer Deposition in Transistors and Monolithic 3D Integration

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Transistors are fundamental building blocks of modern electronics. This review summarizes recent progress in atomic layer deposition (ALD) for the synthesis of two‐dimensional (2D) metal oxides and transition‐metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs), with particular emphasis on their enabling role in monolithic three‐dimensional (M3D) integration for next ...

Law, language and science : work in progress [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
This paper is aimed to re-elaborate questions and discuss them rather than presenting answers. It starts with the dialog concerning specific contributions of philosophy of language to Law, followed by the re-elaboration of some yet unanswered problems ...

Optimal spanning tree reconstruction in symbolic regression

open access: yes
This paper investigates the problem of regression model generation. A model is a superposition of primitive functions. The model structure is described by a weighted colored graph. Each graph vertex corresponds to some primitive function. An edge assigns a superposition of two functions. The weight of an edge equals the probability of superposition. To

Revealing the Hidden Role of Cd in p‐Type Mg3Sb2: Enhanced Thermoelectric Performance by Grain Boundary Segregation Engineering

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The hidden role of Cd segregation at grain boundaries is revealed in p‐type Mg3Sb2 by atom probe tomography and other advanced characterizations. Grain boundary Cd enrichment suppresses the SbMg+ hole‐killer formation and lowers potential barriers, enhancing electrical conductivity.

High Pressure Densification Investigation of Li3PS4 and Li6PS5Cl Solid Electrolytes using Combine X‐Ray Diffraction, X‐Ray Absorption Tomography and Ionic Measurement

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We used multiple analytical techniques at the Psiché beamline, Synchrotron Soleil, and at D20 instrument in Institut Laue Langevin, to study the densification of thiophosphate solid electrolytes Li3PS4 and Li6PS5Cl. Our combined X‐ray diffraction, absorption tomography, absorption density, neutron power diffraction, and ionic conductivity analyses ...

Reconstructing C2 Servers for Remote Access Trojans with Symbolic Execution [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
The analysis of a malicious piece of software that involves a remote counterpart that instructs it can be troublesome for security professionals, as they may have to unravel the communication protocol in use to figure out what actions can be carried out on the victim’s machine.

Start, Stop, Rewind, Repeat—Cyclic Exposure of Adipose Stromal Cells‐derived Cartilage Organoids to Chondrogenic and Proliferative Cues to Achieve Scaled‐up and Customizable Bone Formation by Endochondral Ossification

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This study exploits the plasticity of ASCs‐derived cartilage organoids which generate a perichondrial layer of MSCs when exposed to cyclic chondrogenic/proliferative cues. Using these organoids as building blocks, we develop (i) Phalange Shaped Tissue Engineered Cartilage (Pa‐TECs), recapitulating endochondral ossification suitable for the treatment of

Masks as Transitional Objects

open access: yesO Mundo da Saúde, 2012
This article focuses on Masks as transitional objects, according to the concept proposed by Winnicott. Other authors such as Bruner, Wallon, Anzieu, and Broustra also bring their principles for supporting an art-therapy approach in relationships with ...
