Adaptive wireless network multi-objective optimization algorithm based on image synthesis

open access: yesEURASIP Journal on Image and Video Processing, 2018
Multi-objective optimization problems can be divided into continuous multi-objective optimization problems and discrete multi-objective optimization problems, and discrete multi-objective optimization is not universal.

A High-Level LTL Synthesis Format: TLSF v1.1 [PDF]

open access: yesElectronic Proceedings in Theoretical Computer Science, 2016
We present the Temporal Logic Synthesis Format (TLSF), a high-level format to describe synthesis problems via Linear Temporal Logic (LTL). The format builds upon standard LTL, but additionally allows to use high-level constructs, such as sets and ...

Computer programs for antenna feed system design and analysis [PDF]

open access: yes, 1967
Fourteen computer programs have been developed for antenna feed system design and analysis. The programs cover a large spectrum of feed design problems, from primary feed pattern synthesis to the farfield pattern of the main reflector, including analyses

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.

Optimum Path Synthesis of a Geared Five-Bar Mechanism

open access: yesAdvances in Mechanical Engineering, 2013
Most studies on path synthesis problems are to trace simple or smooth trajectories. In this work, an optimum synthesis for several special trajectories generated by a geared five-bar mechanism is studied using the one-phase synthesis method.

Neuronal Constraint-Handling Technique for the Optimal Synthesis of Closed-Chain Mechanisms in Lower Limb Rehabilitation

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2022
The optimal methods for the synthesis of mechanisms in rehabilitation usually require solving constrained optimization problems. Metaheuristic algorithms are frequently used to solve these problems with the inclusion of Constraint-Handling Techniques ...

Nicotinamide N‐methyltransferase promotes drug resistance in lung cancer, as revealed by nascent proteomic profiling

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
AZD9291 has shown promise in targeted cancer therapy but is limited by resistance. In this study, we employed metabolic labeling and LC–MS/MS to profile time‐resolved nascent protein perturbations, allowing dynamic tracking of drug‐responsive proteins. We demonstrated that increased NNMT expression is associated with drug resistance, highlighting NNMT ...

Mathematical description of imaging processes in ultra-wideband active aperture synthesis systems using stochastic sounding signals

open access: yesРадіоелектронні і комп'ютерні системи, 2021
Mathematical models of the fields of stochastic ultra-wideband signals that are necessary for solving problems of aperture synthesis of images using active radar methods are presented.

On a Local Darlington Synthesis Problem [PDF]

open access: yesComplex Analysis and Operator Theory, 2017
The Darlington synthesis problem (in the scalar case) is the problem of embedding a given contractive analytic function to an inner $2\times 2$ matrix function as the entry. A fundamental result of Arov--Douglas--Helton relates this algebraic property to a pure analytic one known as a pseudocontinuation of bounded type.

A synthetic benzoxazine dimer derivative targets c‐Myc to inhibit colorectal cancer progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Benzoxazine dimer derivatives bind to the bHLH‐LZ region of c‐Myc, disrupting c‐Myc/MAX complexes, which are evaluated from SAR analysis. This increases ubiquitination and reduces cellular c‐Myc. Impairing DNA repair mechanisms is shown through proteomic analysis.
